Well, this book certainly took me by surprise.
We meet Evangeline; a special elf whose destiny is to end the curses of two enemy clans. The reason? She is the result of two elves from opposing sides falling in love, making her the prime candidate for putting an end to the devastating curses.
Not only does she have the fate of the clans on her shoulders, but she has to document everything in her journal!
Without giving too much away, I will say that this book had me laughing hard, then wondering what the hell Evangeline was going to do next.
What I didn't expect was the conclusion to this twisted and messed up fairytale.
If you love humour with a pinch of crazy and a huge helping of insanity, then this fantasy book is for you.
